We have had several reports of vehicle related incidents within the area such as car doors being tried and vehicles being ransacked. We can tell you that a male was arrested last night and faced the courts today. Thank you very much for reporting incidents to us as you help build a bigger picture. Please continue to report to us, non emergencies on 101 and emergencies call 999.

Top tips to protect your property:

. Lock all doors and windows

. Keep all possessions out of view of your windows

. Don't leave car keys near the front of your house

. Don't leave any possessions in your vehicles

. Report any suspicious behaviour in your area
